How Do I Know When I Should Change My Windscreen Wipers?

Sometimes it’s difficult to know if you should change your windscreen wipers, but here are some clear signs that the change is necessary.

There are different types of indications:

Check your wiper’s condition

On the wipers:

• If the rubbers of the wipers are cracked then they should be replaced.
• If the edges of the wipers are dull (not sharp) then it’s replacement time.

Check how your wipers work

How well they work:

• If the water isn’t being cleared from your windscreen, then it’s obvious you need to replace the blades.
• If they are making a screeching sound when they go across your windscreen you also need to replace them.
