How to put your car’s safety first
- Invest in both a steering wheel lock and a GPS tracker. Spending money on protective tech can prevent even higher costs of replacing a stolen vehicle
- If possible, avoid parking where you see a lot of people looting
- Never leave your keys in your ignition, no matter how quickly you’ll be gone. Also don’t leave a spare near your car
- Place all bags and valuables in the boot and out of visibility
- Keep your doors locked while driving
