Safety tips for drivers
🚗 Doors locked, safety on
As soon as you get into your car, lock all your doors. Make sure your boot is locked too. Put on the safety belts of yourself, your passengers, and babies too. Safety belts protect you from accidents, but they also protect you from being grabbed out of your vehicle.
🚗 Be alert to robots
Do not reach for your phone or bag when you’re stopping at a robot- this is a smash and grab zone. Avoid opening your windows to strangers. Do not stand longer at a robot than needed.
🚗 GPS
When you’re driving in dangerous areas or on dangerous highways, make sure you put your GPS on completely before embarking on your journey. You become an easy target if you seem confused about where you are headed.
